Hello everyone,

I am looking for information on what kind of chair to get for my 90 yr
old dad. He has a very bad case of degenerative disc and cannot walk
far at all because of the pain. He can sit with relative comfort and
little pain.

He is one of those who has been very active his whole life and just
sitting is making him a miserable wretch.

I was leaning more towards one of those power chairs (scooter) rather
than a standard wheelchair.

Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated, and
since I hae had no dealings with these devices could someone tell me
what kind of money it will take for either the motorized vs standard
chair.
