I am a male 6' 330lbs 47 yrs - I have sleep apnea and use a cpap. For
the past year I have been growing increasingly achy, especially in my
feet and hands. My feet hurt in every possible way and place - I can
barely walk. Went to a Podiatrist and they called it "plantar
faciatus" and gave me some $300 shoe inserts that helped for awhile.
When they stopped working they didnt have anything else to offer. Went
to a rhuematologist and they admit that I have inflammation but dont
know why - gave me very strong/expensive anti-inflammatories - which
help a bit. Does this sound like anything - is it just my weight
(although its doesnt make sense that my hands and elbows hurt also). I
hurt all the time, am feeling weak, hard to get out of a chair - is
this the same for all fat people - my guess is no - any input is
appreciated. Thanks

I am 6' 380lbs on CPAPA age 69½ years

you just have to change your life style

start with The 5BX (Five Basic Exercises) program, extremely popular
during the 1950s
walking not running for the fifth

later swimming
and diet for at least 2 years

NO BEER
NO BARS
NO CIGARETRES (gives CIRULATION PROBLEMS)
about 800 to 1000 caloies a day

Weihght Watchers are good or a hospital dietician once a week as anout
patient

I was over 400 at your age got down to 230 then slowly put it on over
20 years
somust start over

try and avoid stress
and the little treats to compensate

no short cuts to diet and gentle exercise

Managed to go for a walk yesterday - just under 4 miles.
Normally go swimming on a Tuesday evening but hubby isn't well
so don't think I'll be going tonight - guess I'll have to use exercise
bike instead!

Keep smiling - we can beat this!

distinguish betwen an illness and a condition

being fat is not an illness (but it does make you more at risk)
A bit like having too much money
spend spend spend to reduce the bank balance LOL

My skn is beginnning to hang

no operations if I can avoid them
