Hi Everyone,

I recently read that the old idea of 30 min every other day for walking
has been replaced w/60 minutes 3-4x a week.

Of course... any walking it seems, should be better than none.

I am at 60 minutes 3 times a week at greater than 50% of maximum heart rate.
It is now time to increase the intensity 75% of maximum heart rate over the
nex 6 months. I am now at a point where I need eat more food to maintain my
body weight.

Intensity is increased by increasing the pace. I use a metronome to set the
pace.
