I've lost my voice again, and now feel generally under the weather. So no energy for fighting back. Psychiatrist tomorrow morning, GP in the afternoon. Car battery flat tonight so I can't collect my daughter, and that's upset me disproportionately. And friends seem to be ignoring me. Which is understandable, I know, but it still hurts. Dawn
From: Paul C. on 20 Oct 2005 20:39 I felt pretty shitty on Prozac also for the first few weeks and have dose increased to try and help, GP is right though intervention is the best hope of improvement -- Coleman

After about 26days I started to feel the Prozac kicking in as my mood started to change and the depression began to lift. Getting better gradually as the days went by, after about 6 weeks I felt much better, I find that by taking the Prozac at around 8-9pm it stops the anxious feeling I used to get when I took them in the mornings. Prozac does not work for everybody, some cannot tolerate it at all, its just a matter of trying it to see how you get on. I still get the odd days when I feel rough though, but then again that is what depression is all about. Hope this helps. Meter

And keep posting; it helps a lot to talk to other people who know how you feel. -- -- ^^^^^^^^^^ -- Whiskers -- ~~~~~~~~~~ |
