From: graham.mee on 23 Jun 2007 07:57 Below is an email to Hollister - has anyone els had the same problem? To Hollister, I have used hollister pouches for the last 15 years and, until the last few months, have had no problems. Unfortunately this has now changed. Two months ago I ordered my usual four boxes of the 1489 eurostomy pouches and when I started wearing these it became obvious that there was a big problem with leakage. All leaked from the same area and that was, as you are looking down on a pouch that you are wearing, the leak is from the right hand side of the tap mechanism where the base of the tap is glued to the inside of the plastic bag. I threw all of these boxes away and ordered new. At first these were alright but the same problem has now appeared. Example of batch numbers are: 6E242, 7D273 and 7C273. I have ordered and started wearing the 1459 Impression C pouches and these are not too good either as, leading a very active life, the plaster comes away after about 4 or 5 hours. My ideal would be an impression C pouch with the same plaster system as the regular 1489. I am about to start a blog forum for other users of your products and I will let you know if it is just me that is having these problems. Graham Mee
